The advantages of direct drive swivels

Larger range of movement The P180D featuring direct-drive swivels is the only pneumatic cannon on the market that has a left-right movement of 180 degrees. The others have around 90 degrees.

Precise control Direct drive provides smooth motion and constant speed thanks to the integrated rack drive. Cannons that use pneumatic cylinders have changing speeds through the stroke as the trajectory changes as the swivel rotate.

Rust Free, No leaks No more rusty rods and leaking cylinders. The direct drive swivels are sealed to keep the lubrication in and the weather out. Cylinder rods are prone to rust when exposed to the elements. Add in the fact that they're always covered in water when used on a cannon, and it just makes no sense to use them.

Safe without pinch points Our direct drive swivels have no external moving parts so no pinch points. Other cannons that use cylinders have multiple pinch points that can be dangerous.

Long trouble-free life Our innovative swivel design uses low friction rotary seals that last for years and a direct meshing rotary drive that is lifetime lubricated. Direct drive swivels will provide years of trouble-free operation.
