Spring return butterfly valves are a great way of controlling water flow remotely. Supply air to the actuator and the valve will open, remove the air and the valve will close itself. Simple to control with either a Pneumatic Air Switch or Namur Valve.
Butterfly valves are ideal for water trucks; They are durable, rugged and maintenance-free. Butterfly valves are easy to install and don't require a gasket, thanks to the inbuilt rubber (EPDM) wafer
